Annie Seaton’s Book Launch – “Winter of the Passion Flower” and “A Holiday Affair”

Annie Seaton launched two books, “Winter of the Passion Flower” and the growing viral by the minute e-book “A Holiday Affair,” on the 4th of May 2012, in the beautiful and pristine backdrop of Nambucca Heads, mid north coast of New South Wales. Both books were received well and after exquisite amounts of champagne, wine or what ever took one’s fancy, the audience was gifted with a reading. Excerpts of both books were read by some of Annie Seaton’s closest friends.

Truly, Annie Seaton in person is a breath of fresh air as is her writing which I have had the pleasure of reading over the weekend.

“Winter of the Passion Flower,” is a steam punk novella. The story flows effortlessly and transports the reader aboard the Artemis with the adventurous Indigo de Vargas and the darkly brooding Zane Dogooder. Winter of the Passion Flower, is remarkably descriptive and the author does a fabulous job of hooking the reader.  The combination of adventure, science, time travel and romance makes it a satisfying and tremendously good read.

“A Holiday Affair,”  sandy Australian beaches, and a hot steamy affair can land a girl in to trouble. Especially, if trouble per chance, presents himself in the same place of employ. Lizzy McIntyre and Nick Richards find themselves in an interesting predicament, all thanks to their ‘no strings attached one night stand.’  They both have to fight the building heat that gravitates to an intensifying attraction. An enticing and addictive read.

Having had the pleasure to be a part of Annie’s launch I have to say an extended thank you for a most welcomed stay in the very beautiful hidden oasis that is Nambucca Heads. Furthermore to all the RWA members yes you know who you are. I enjoyed meeting and re-connecting with all of you and look forward to seeing you all again at the RWA Diamonds are Forever Conference in Queensland.
