Big hello everyone,
Just a quick note to advise you all, that I am still receiving a fair few sign ups at this blog site, and wanted to inform you that I no longer post here.
If you want to stay in the loop it would be best to follow me over at Efthalia Author or sign up for my newsletter to get the latest on my book news, recipes and my usual ramblings.
Keep smiling and and catch you all somewhere in the cyber sphere.
My (Golden Girl) friend Annie Seaton has bestowed a tag on me in her fun post, “The Lucky Seven.”
The challenge. Post seven lines from an unpublished work of fiction. My current WIP (Phantasma- Phi 1) is going through some heavy editing at the moment. Tedious but necessary. My story is centred around, Xen an immortal (hot stuff) warrior and Carissa, a gorgeous Greek demi god/goddess. In this scene she has just spent the night at Xen’s mansion and has decided to borrow some of his clothes. Heading off to the kitchen for her regular caffeine boost, she comes face to face with Xen’s trusted friend Kane (über sexy alpha wolf).
The Golden Rules:
- Go to page 7 or 77 in your current manuscript (fiction or non-fiction)
- Go to line 7
- Post on your blog the next 7 lines, or sentences, as they are – no cheating
- Tag 7 other authors to do the same
Extract – Phantasma – Phi 1 – p.g. 77 line 7.
“I think Xen would like the t-shirt, not sure about the shorts.”
“And what is so wrong with the shorts? She said defiantly.
“They look like you’re swimming in them.” His grin got wider.
“Okay I get it, don’t be such a smart ass.” Carissa snatched the box from his hands, almost dropped it and headed toward the lounge room in a huff.
Laughter thick and rich sounded from behind her. He admired her defensiveness. “Oh by the way, I am smart and I have a great ass.”
